We are finally seeing signs of normality as the State Government implements Phase 2 of a four-phase roadmap to recovery commencing on Monday 18 May 2020. Due to strict conditions imposed the buffet will NOT be available.
Our roadmap is well advanced and I am delighted to say that we are in a position to initiate Phase 2 as from Monday 18 May 2020.  New protocols have been put into place to comply with government directives to ensure your safety and that of our staff. We ask that you familiarise yourself with the following key points:

  • The Marina Room restaurant will open Friday to Monday and is the ONLY part of the club that members can attend to order and consume food and beverages on the premises
  • Dinner will be served on each opening night with lunch available on Friday-Saturday-Sunday and our HYC breakfast on Sunday
  • Members MUST sign in and all guests are required to have their name and a contact phone number recorded
  • Members and guests are encouraged to wash their hands and/or sanitise them prior to entering the restaurant
  • Members and guests MUST wait for the Maître D to escort them to their tables in the designated dining area
  • Members MUST be seated and alcohol can only be served with food orders
  • There will be a limited selection of alcoholic drinks due to limited supplies from our suppliers so please accept our sincere apology if your favourite drink is not available
  • Social distancing and good hygiene practices MUST be followed
  • Members & guests from different households MUST follow social distancing rules
  • During this time HYC has implemented a “No Cash” policy and will only accept credit cards or Member cards
  • Members MUST book for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner with the following service times available:

Public Holiday opening hours will be advertised on our website

  • We ask members who book the First Sitting to be courteous and vacate the premises by no later than the designated time as we will not be permitted to allow the Second Sitting to enter the venue until that occurs
  • HYC members will be given priority to dining bookings
  • Take-away frozen meals will continue to be available Tuesday –Thursday during office hours and need to be  ordered in advance. Frozen Meals and Hot Meals can also be ordered in advance during opening hours on Friday-Monday and must be collected from a designated collection area as advised.
