Instead success went to another yacht returning to racing this season in division one, Hard Evidence skippered by Marshall Fox. First Impression (Ron Marian) was second and Whispering Jack (Chelsea Bradford) who was fastest around the course, was third.
In division two Volant (Emille Janssen, John Ball, Frank Hagemann, Kevin Meta) won ahead of fastest on the day Covert Operation (Graham Atkinson and Bart Brouwer) and Farrouk (Lee Burrows and Rod Hernaman).
Brett and Lynda Bailey on Sensei were first and fastest in division three ahead of Larraine Brindle on Stelfred.
