The course you hope you’ll never need – but knowledge of first aid procedures could save a life! Whether you are out on the water, at work or at home, having first aid knowledge is extremely valuable. This is a Nationally Accredited course that forms part of the Certificate II in Emergency Medical Service First Response (HLTAID0011).

(HLTAID002) Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
(HLTAID003) Provide First Aid

For your information: The unit of competency HLTAID011 Provide first aid describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. It applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

After successful completion of the programme you will be awarded a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support and HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.

All participants will require a USI number which can be searched for or created here: www.usi.gov.au

For young Adults under 18 need parental consent to attend the Course and anyone under 16 cannot attend due to some of the content shown during the Course.
