Terms & Conditions of Temporary Membership

Temporary Members are allowed access to Hillarys Yacht Club’s facilities for the purpose of holding an event/function or with the intention of exploring the Club’s facilities with a view to becoming a full Member. Temporary Members and their guests must adhere to the Club’s Constitution and By-Laws including adherence to the Club’s Dress Code Standards and are limited to the day of the specified visit date. Temporary Members are not entitled to participate in any Club organised water based competition or to skipper a vessel in a Club race unless approved by the Rear Commodore of the Section organising or conducting the event and are only entitled to utilise the facilities of the Club’s Licensed premises.

All Members must adhere to the Club’s dress code of smart, casual attire with enclosed shoes at all times in the Members’ Restaurant and Lounge, and social functions and when dining at the buffet.

Temporary Members may nominate up to five guests on their specified visit date. Membership is limited to one (1) visit only.
